Apparently the LeHigh face-off guy is having a fantastic preseason. Just did a great job versus Nova after taking on St.Joe's last week. Anyone know this kid?

He must have gotten infinitely better from last year. Scudder was a stud last year, and the backup-who starts over Scudder, was significantly worse last year. Good for him. We will face him soon. Very excited
Went 1-6... tough day. Curtis Holmes went something like 17 of 23. He was super quick. Much more so then cooney, however cooney runs a fast break well Holmes went back every single face off. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a great season.

Ryan Snider is a soph and he is super quick, athletic and actually a very good field player. My son faced him in an indoor event over this past Christmas break. In the same event, my son also went against Matt Dolente and several other college FOGO's. Ryan was best by far. He anticipated the whistle real well. (the indoor event was down/whistle, face after every goal and he had the timing of that down in about 5 minutes) I am not surprised by his success (Nova is gonna struggle at the X this year in my opinion and St Joe's is well St Joe's) but I want to see how he does after getting scouted. My son said he reminded him of Robarge (who he has also gone against) in size and quickness.

My personal opinion was that robarge trutfully wasn't that quick, obviously he was pretty quick, but it was how he battled in fifty fiftys & his ability to stay low powerful and compact that made him dangerous.
But very good for him for beating out Scudder.

Yeah. It looks like Ryan snyder is the most improved player in college lacrosse from last year. He has the wilkes and Kaplan combo this weekend along with us at udm. Hopefully someone can slow him down ... because after seeing the film, most of ones he's lost (10 loses this year) were procedures.

web1.ncaa.org/stats/StatsSrv/rankingsNot update for this past weekend yet. Shawn Kaplan went 9-11 with 6 gbs vs PSU and won 9 in a row. Ryan was 13-17 with 12 gbs vs UDM this weekend. Since I am on business in Ohio this week, I plan to attend the OSU vs Lehigh game Tuesday. Should be a great game. BTW-RG was 15-23 with 12 gbs vs UMBC. He is 46-69 .667 with 29 gbs so far.

Anybody ever play against Ryan Shaw? He is a freshman at Providence that is 72% through 4 games that includes a 18/24 vs UMass yesterday. Great start to his college career.

Carraro from Denver had a solid day versus Schiavone from Loyola (50-50). Great back and forth battle with both parties getting a few clean wins for fastbreak goals.

Keenan had been unreal until he met up with MD's Holmes. Both frosh I think so maybe a great 4-year ACC f/o rivalry getting started we'll see.
faceofflax15 stop posting so much and get into the game. No one is looking for technique/stick advice from a guy winning 31% on 19 draws. If faceoffs are the best part of your game I'd be surprised if you can even cradle. At least you're providing comedy. Less time posting, more time stepping up your game. I frequent this board and lacrosseforums and it's getting ridiculous.
