the most i have ever paid which was still ridiculous was 95 for a used blade which lasted me 3 days before snapping. I have been lucky enough to purchase 3 others for 35, 50 and 20 dollars each. To spend 100+ on a head that is most likelly used, old and will last a month with faceoffs seems dumb...however i continue to do it and will till im broke becasue these babies flex like no other

what's a more readily available alternative to the blade with near the same flexibility as well as shape retention?

FP - you are 15. OG blades are great, but it's the magician, not the wand. You are much better off finding something sustainable and more readily available in the future.

I buy blades cause they retain their shape and have my favorite flex...guest. which has nothing to do with my playing

FP- that makes absolutely no sense. Those features have "nothing to do with your playing" ? Yet you buy them anyway? Not doubting their benefit, just suggesting finding something more regularly and easily obtainable, especially when you move on to play in college.

In college you don't have to worry about gear ... you break ahead you get a new one right away ... and there are tons of college fogos that use OG blades. What the f**k is your problem anyways? Is there something wrong with having a preference in the head you use?

Is there something wrong with having a preference in the head you use? Calm down. If you break an OG blade in college you aren't getting another one from the school unless you have a stash in your dorm. What they are getting at is that you say that the head has "Your favorite flex" If that doesn't have anything to do with your playing than the pinch and the scoop doesn't either. As a FOGO flex has everything to do with your playing.

TO clear this up. its not about the fad that everyone wants a blade its how you make it your own and perfect for facing off. The thing about a blade is some people like its weird factory shape and do great with it like that. While most deflare and bake it to their specifics. To find a head that has great shape, thick sidewall, nice throat, and flexs low extremelly well is rare..in of itself. Thats why i buy them.....
