I just heard today that the professor is really flexible. This is from a guy on TLF so he could be wrong but it looks promising. That guy was probably me. As for its flexibility id say its a 5 out of 10 on the scale 1 being a stiffi and a 10 being a blade. This is also after I baked it a few times at 350 for 4 mins each time that hardly yielded any change. Its throat (where the head first opens up) boast the most promising construction for the pinch and pop though. stay away from the super power though. Ill be looking into RBK heads and the new torque as well really i actually kinda like it..i agree that its a little stiff but if theyre made out of the same plastic that the PP's are made of they'll break in over time. As for RBK heads i'd go with the 9k over the 6k cuz its a little narrower at the throat and fairly flexible compared to other 2010 heads

I don't think Alex designed it.. But it defiantely will be fine after a little break in time and proper stringing.

I am not a big fan of the super power (my roommate has one) The professor is nice i started using it when fall ball started it pinch and pops nice just make sure if you use hard mesh to soften it up before practice/game play. I think I will invest in a few more professor's soon.

i have since learned the professor is not affiliated with alex... it is named after the former toronto rock coach/player Glenn Clark

the professor is a great head but ive been breaking a lot of them lately. I havent been facing a whole lot since fall ball ended and ive already been through 2 of them from the end of fall ball to this morning when my 2nd one broke. Luckily I have a decent amount of these heads left and theyre still under warranty

I am on my third so far, and they all are breaking at the same spot, on each side a crack keeps forming at the second sidewall hole from the bottom. Wish they would fix it because it is gettin annoying to keep restringin these things...other than that love the head

Gdowneyiv, the same thing happens with my blades. I dont think this break is head specific but comes from the nature of facing off.

i have looked a few professors, and they all seem to have a very small stress line at that spot, and when we start using them it gets bigger and ends up becoming a break

DO NOT GET A PROFESSOR IF YOU FOLLOW NCAA RULES. i have gotten 2 from the equipment room so far this season and after i'd say 20 faceoffs its becomes illegal, and sure you can put a softball or something in it to make it legal at the start of the game but after 2 faceoffs its illegal again.

I have never tried any stick other than the original blade which I have been facing off with since I was in 8th grade. I have been very fortunate in that I understand the limitation and abilities of this stick well and have never had to make a change.
