i heard the starpower was going to be good its supposed to be a 2010 legal PP It will be called the Superpower. The Starpower is a shaft made by Lolax Lacrosse. As for Alex trying it, I heard in a different post that he was unfamiliar with the new STX heads. Maybe it's different now but that was said before. My personal views right now of it are mixed. I have not used it, but the i've heard its going to be made of the same type of plastic STX made the Viper 2 with. I'm not sure if you have tried to take a draw with the V2, but it seems to have no "Elasticity." Once you do a pinch in pop (or attempt one) it seems to stay the same shape, which is off to the left in that case. The throat seems pretty long and narrow, adding for much surface area for the power clampers. I'm sure many people on The Lacrosse Forums will pick it up, as it comes out 7/1. If I notice anybody with them, I'll make sure to ask about how it feels and post it right up here. Hope this Helps. -Tyler

looks like a possibility with a little side wall cutting on the support beam from the sidewall

I don't like the sound of strengthened scoop and sidewalls. Sounds like a detriment to pinch-and-popping.

Taking a faceoff with the V2 is terrible. I tried to PnP and it just stayed in the same position from when I pinched it. I had to kick the ball out to one of my mids because my head was completely bent outta shape. I gave it to my defense man friend who just loves it though.
I hope this super power is all that it is hyped up to be. I will be unhappy if it isn't because I love the concept of taking the great design of the PP and making it 2010 legal.

the superpower is the 2010 legal PP. but from what ive heard it also has the issue of not being able to fit on all the shafts too easily.

Really hope the Superpower isn't a bust because I had my coaches get me two for this season.

I just heard today that the professor is really flexible. This is from a guy on TLF so he could be wrong but it looks promising.

I just heard today that the professor is really flexible. This is from a guy on TLF so he could be wrong but it looks promising. That guy was probably me. As for its flexibility id say its a 5 out of 10 on the scale 1 being a stiffi and a 10 being a blade. This is also after I baked it a few times at 350 for 4 mins each time that hardly yielded any change. Its throat (where the head first opens up) boast the most promising construction for the pinch and pop though. stay away from the super power though. Ill be looking into RBK heads and the new torque as well
