Talk about the experimental rules changes that NCAA is trying out this week. No on-the-fly subs changes the game for fogo's in substantial way. Will affect some more than others. What do you think will happen?

You will probably see a rise in possession shots after the face-off--intentionally missing the cage and backing it up to get an out-of-bounds situation, garnering a horn. Players will be able to substitute then.
If the coaches were smart, they would put two shortsticks on the wings and teach the face-off man how to C-cut on the crease. If the other team brings out a SSDM, LP, and FOGO against two offensive shorties and a FOGO with no on the fly substitutions, I'll take the offensive middies playing D against three specialists 70% of the time.
