The moto grip involves a very different type of stress on the right wrist than the old conventional grip. The very tight flexing of the wrist to the right has the potential to create inflammation of tendons and ligaments. Wondering if fogo lacrosse readers have encountered any problems of this sort.

Damage can appear in the extensor carpi ulnaris (ECU) tendon .. inflammation caused by a longitudinal split in the ECU and tear of the tendon sheathe. This is the result of a couple of seasons of moto face-offs.... Just don't know if this is an isolated case or whether the problem is emerging among FOGOs elsewhere.

the only sort of "injury" i've head was wrists swelling and starting to crack near the end of each season.
that's just personal experience, I would like to hear more from others.

HLeem : just curious, I know you mentioned wanting to break the FO record at Chapman, but I didn't see you on the roster the other day. If I am mistaken, my apologies. I am out, I guess the most correct way to say it is a "miscommunication" with financial aid...
I am still helping out with the program, until everything is resolved (including applications to other schools and working with Chapman's Administration for next year.)
